Thanks to JSF’s awesome host, StarsZZ, we have a new domain. We are now located on JSturgess.Net.
I picked that name because it’s short enough to memorize and to avoid confusion with other Jim fansite. Anyway, I’ll work hard to keep up with this site. It’s been tough cause I work fulltime and I have 3 other fansites other than this one but I love this site and I’m not ready to give up on JSF. So, stay tuned for more updates!

The official trailer for Fifty Dead Men Walking is available here. It sure looks good. Can’t wait to see it. Also, another poster has surfaced for this movie. I don’t know which one is the official one, will find out about that..

Hey guys, news has been lacking lately. But here’s some information about the worldwide distribution of Fifty Dead Men Walking. UK, Canada, Australia, Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, Spain, Russia, Benelux, Greece, Portugal, Brazil, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, former Yugoslavia, Romania, Middle East, Turkey, and South Africa have been confirmed. US distribution right is still under negotiation.

U.K. indie distrib Metrodome has snapped up all U.K. rights to Canuck helmer Kari Skogland’s thriller “50 Dead Men Walking” from co-producer and sales agent Handmade Films Intl.
Metrodome plans a spring 2009 release.

Pic has also sold to Australia (Village Roadshow), Scandinavia (Svenske), Germany and Austria (ARD Degeto), Spain (Festival Films), Russia (Paradise), Benelux (EFP), Greece (Odeon), Portugal (Lusomundo), Brazil (Imagem Filmes), Poland (Vision), Czech Republic/Slovakia (Intersonic), Hungary (Intersonic), former Yugoslavia (VTI), Romania (Odeon), Middle East (ECS), Turkey (Fida) and South Africa (Ster-KineKor).

TVA acquired Canadian distribution rights via Brighlights during production. HandMade is working with the William Morris Agency to close U.S. rights.
