Jim Sturgess has admitted that he got the Aussie accent for voicing Soren, in Legend of The Guardians, by watching Australian soap operas, such as Neighbours and Home and Away. (:

Here’s an excerpt from the article

“I think it is [how I got the accent] you know, I’m not even going to lie,” he said, while on the red carpet at the film’s Hollywood premiere.

“I mean we all grew up watching Neighbours and Home And Away didn’t we? Hopefully it rubbed off in the right way!” he joked.
