While Jim’s whereabouts in the musical is still unknown, I’m still going to post things about Spiderman the musical.

The musical based on the comic book character Spider-Man, with music and lyrics by U2′s Bono and The Edge, will officially open on Broadway on February 18th, 2010, according to Billboard.com.
Preview performances for the show, which has the inexplicable title Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, will begin on January 16th. A theater and cast have yet to be officially announced, although actress Evan Rachel Wood has been saying publicly that she will play Spider-Man’s love interest, Mary Jane Watson. Director Julie Taymor has been holding readings of the script with Wood and actor Jim Sturgess, although it is not clear if Sturgess will land the title role.
